'Sutherlandii'

Hebe Sutherlandii forms low carpeting mounds of small grey leaves. Masses of short spikes of small white flowers in late Spring and early Summer. Excellent ground cover, rockeries or in containers.

Height and spread: 60cm (24ins)

Position: Grow in poor or moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.

Planting: Soak the root-ball before planting. Plant in a hole twice the diameter of the root-ball or pot. Backfill soil mixed with an organic soil improver and general fertilizer.

Plant Care: Shelter pant from cold drying winds. Trim plant annually to maintain shape.
